In summer, Gardiner Canyon, between Mammoth and the exit, and in the Wrecker's Pullout-Yellowstone Picnic area, just east of the bridge over the Yellowstone River at Tower Junction. This guy was at Yellowstone Picnic.

In winter, they hang around close to the road at the Confluence.

I've also seen them hanging out above the road east of Sylvan Pass, on the way to East Entrance - 9 real scraggly post-winter rams last June!
