The "locals" that follow 399 and her three babies need a reality check!

I had heard of horror stories that these "locals" had/have caused and actual watched them all stand in the road to block other cars from coming past them to get a better view.

It was so obvious on what they were doing. Plus you could hear them being rude to visitors when they asked them a question.

I blocked the road so they could not speed to the next hot spot where 399 was and where she and her 3 coy walked across the dirt road.

They were a little upset, but what goes around comes around. It most likely made me miss a great photo op, but today was not there day for photos.

More tourists were able to get a once in a life time photo, since they were not being stopped/ pushed/crowded out of the way. Listening to them afterwards, sharing the bear story and there photo was worth it it me.

The ranger came by and smiled and gave me a thumbs up.

The park has closed Pilgrim Creek road for two weeks, (should open June 24th)as they were dumping tons and tons of gravel on the road. No signs of bears after that.
