It was 2011--either the first or second summer it was in service. I know we watched an online video that featured a ride up the new tram before we went on the trip, but since we went at the end of July the video could have been from the beginning of that summer, I guess. Don't remember for sure when the new trams went into service.
I was up in the old trams 3 or 4 times over the years. I know they were smaller, but it really didn't seem all that different to me. Maybe because either way it was crowded when we went, ha.
