Been in late August and don't recall biting insects being an issue, July is always a different matter. I believe there is an effort afoot to capture and collar some Grizzlies in the Taylor Fork drainage so be aware if your plans change and take you into that area again, I've seen sign up Wapiti but as you know it's beautiful country, a few Westies up there some years back although most were cutbows.
