Rob's explanation of the keyhole: "The keyhole is a tiny hole in the imposing upper cliff band that allows you to get above the cliff without doing any technical climbing...finding this little hole is the key to climbing Eagle. It's barely big enough to wiggle up through, and you can't even fit a small day pack in with you. We brought 30 feet of rope to use for hauling up our packs from the top."
