Beej, now you were wondering about the Snow Level for back in the Bechler Area. Now most of this country up here has has up to now has been near normal precip and the snow higher up for this winter so far. But now we are being plummated with a big snowstorm with tons of snow up in the High Country. On the Snotel Snow Recording Sites in the backcountry before the storm, it showed places like Thumb, etc. up in YNP as being right below normal. Now with the storm the Bechler should be Normal to Above Normal. The snow here is expected to continue all week in the form of scattered snow showers. Hope this helps.
