I make my calls standing in line at the Slough Creek turnoff while waiting in line to use the toilet there. It's the only place I can get a signal in the Northern Range.

Verizon coverage is very good in the Tetons (as long as you're not behind a mountain or above the towers as at Rendezvous) for what it's worth.
