You may be able to get lodging in Gardner or West Yellowstone and your pass to the park is good for a week or maybe two. Also there are plenty of lodging opportunities in Jackson. The drives in and out of the park and these little towns are delightful. Check google for Chamber of Commerce sights as they usually lead to good lodging plans.

By the way, I live in Vancouver but I am a Portlander and Oregonian in my heart!
