I'm reasonably certain I visited that rendition in September of 1989. We day hiked to Union Falls on one day, and did Dunanda Falls on another. I know we split our lodging between Grant Village and West Yellowstone.

It was the first summer after the Red/Shoshone Fires burned through the area around Grant (twice). Things were looking pretty charred out and about, but the spring flower displays that June were incredible!
