That is sad news on the exhibits in the Valley of the Kings and Mt. St. Helens. The fancy rotating globe with the water at the Canyon VEC wasn't rotating the last time I was in there. Actually, I think it only rotated for the first year or two of its existence.

Your point about benches and seats is a good one. Access is another issue that gets short shrift in many interpretive centers. Some folks figure if you throw in a ramp for wheelchairs, and maybe widened the doorways to the rest rooms, you've satisfied the ADA requirements.
