I'll be camped at site 2Y1 first week in August and I've heard of the lunchroom for viewing bears from pullouts on the road. It would be approx. 3 mile hike from 2Y1 to the top of specimen ridge where I'd like to set up my spotting scope and look down on the bears. This would be about 1/2 to 3/4 mile from what I think is the lunchroom area with approx. 500-600 drop in elevation which would be ideal for animal viewing. I believe I'm close to the lunchroom area but not exact. I believe it to be approx. 2.5 miles from the road and on the east side of Jasper Creek. Can anyone confirm this please. The GPS cord's of the spot I believe it is are LAT 44.873559 LON -110.301534. Am I close?
