Hayden and I think of these two as the hat thermal features. We once had a conversation with a ranger about their removal. There was a ranger who made it his concern to clean them up, but he had retired and now if they got cleaned up, it was a lowest employee's job. This year was a low number of hats somewhere in the twenties and we saw one hat get blown off. We were also there in early June.
