Were they brightly colored, possibly oils or enamels, or bi-colored, like the original designs for the Old Faithful Inn and the Bear Pit, which were etched wood, which have been replaced in the Bear pit with etched glass, like GH's photograph. The father of a friend of mine was painting things...my friend only has watercolors left...in Yellowstone in the 'thirties before the father went to work for Walt Disney as an artist.
