I have posted this link on the Loon Zone twice now. It dawned on me that I should mention it here, since this page is so slow, yet I know there are a number of people who check this page periodically. Some may not frequent the Loon Zone.
This is an old blog that I just fired back up a few weeks ago. The primary purpose was to start making non-fiction bear stories available to the fanatical bear fans that hang out on explore.org's Brooks Falls webcams website discussion forum. In the summer, the traffic on that forum is unbelievable, because everyone is watching the bears hunting the wily salmon. Once the bears hibernate, things slow down markedly, but there are still hundreds, probably thousands of people who talk bears and other subjects on the forum over there.
I still have lots of bear stories yet to be written, but eventually, once I've gotten those out, I will move to a number of other topics, most of which will be Yellowstone-oriented.
