Hope the guy will be okay.

It wouldn't surprise me if they were "Hot Potting" - there's not many other reasons a group of young kids would be out in that area that late. Youth, lack of parental supervision, and peer pressure can certainly be a deadly mix in an environment like Yellowstone.

It's never a bad idea to have a healthy respect of nature.
