All new employees must attend orientation on the day they check in at Gardiner. Park dangers are told to them along with warnings about DWI and other offenses being very serious because in the park they are federal offenses. Of course, there always are those who are there to have fun and ignore the warnings, just as there are tourists not wise enough to heed the warnings.

I would like to know more about where and how this happened. My first thought also was that it was so similar to the employees accidentally jumping into the hot pool in 2000.
