I can't tell if you are trolling this forum or are serious about your inquiry.
Do you not realize that it is illegal to get into any hot springs or mud pots in Yellowstone?
People like you are the reason that the park clamped down really hard this year on travel to any thermal areas that do not have established official NPS trails.
The wording of the Code of Federal Regulations has been changed so there is no wiggle room for interpretation.
The LE rangers are instructed to issue citations and the "hanging judge" in Mammoth, after the incident with the "High on Life" Canadian idiots, is more than happy to spoil your visit with inconvenient hearing dates, jail time, hefty fines and being banned from the park.
