You did a great job of getting sharp photos, and it does not appear that you did the touristy thing of totally disrupting the behavior.
With all the accumulated hours I have spent skiing and snowshoeing in the park over the years, I am surprised I have never come across one of these "kitties". One of my passions was skiing up the Barronette trail from the bridge at the south end; and quite often, I did it solo. On more than one occasion, the only other human I came across was Brian or Mike, out "patrolling". Of course, I used to see moose trails crisscrossing that trail all over the place, yet NEVER saw one of them out there either; and they are a whole lot harder to miss, given the color and size against a white background!
