This is a very special photo. It has the potential to be a symbolic photo statement as we wage the continuing battle to stop the slaughter of Yellowstone's bison. Even though it has been 6 years since the Yellowstone Bison Citizens Working Group issued its final report, there are stirrings of reviving the group in some new form. I still get occasional email updates from some of the folks in Bozeman who are very engaged. I have told them to count on me to participate once I return from Alaska.
