Hi, Morning was seen again at the end of June, and also in August, by verifiable reports. It could have had other eruptions and witnesses didn't know what they were seeing, but it's doubtful. Morning's Thief, next to Morning, is starting to erupt a few hours prior to Fountain. The idea is that if there are few to none of those, Morning is more possible in the next days as the energy isn't stolen by The Thief! Knowing when Fountain is due and going there mid-cycle is a good time to watch the interpley between Morning and the Thief, before the Thief starts up. Clear as mud, right?
Whirligig is in Norris Geyser Basin, right next to the boardwalk and the sign about "colors and temperatures"... in fact, the photo on the sign is of an empty Whirligig with the red crater as an example.
