This is a recent Yellowstone Tour Guides post from Facebook:
"10/23/12, eleven visitors became disoriented in the snowstorm near Canyon and couldn't figure out how to get out of the park. They saw the lights of Canyon Village (most of the lights are out because they are being replaced right now), and ended up spending the night in the Canyon Village VC restroom."

I remember a post on the old Loon page by a guy from Bozeman who was winter camping at Slough Creek and heard noises which prompted him to spent the night locked in the outhouse.

It's good to know that in these times of tight budgets the NPS is building multi-use spaces ☺
