"Seven Yellowstone Park wolves killed in state wolf hunts!"

It would probably be a good idea to wait until we have something official on this since all our current info is from pro-wolf groups, but this is very distressing. It brings back memories of 253M (Limpy) one of the parks most loved wolves who had not an enemy in the world except for the guy who shot him in Wyoming and hung his hide on his barn. Limpy had zero history of livestock conflict and also probably zero fear of humans.

This does make me wonder if all the accommodations made for wolves in Yellowstone renders them sitting ducks once they cross the park's boundary.

Sad!
