Roosevelt Cookout isn't scheduled to open this year until June 8. The Scenicruise and guided fishing boats June 15. And I'd count out any swimming, both in the Firehole and at Boiling River in early June. There's plenty other things to see and do though. Baby animals are plentiful then, some wildflowers are out, and there will probably be some snow around yet at higher altitudes. Hopefully no snowfall will come to hinder your travel in the park...if so, it goes away fast.
