From what I have read from numerous sources, this year 11 Yellowstone wolves have been killed, 8 of them collared. So, close to 80% of Yellowstone wolves killed in this year's hunt have been collared. I will find the sources if you need them.
I personally think that this is a very high number, thus this is why many think that collared wolves are being targeted. It may or may not be true, but the numbers are pretty strong to support that theory.
