Hey, it's almost a new year. Time to focus on the things you want in the 365 days
ahead since the doomsayers were wrong and the supervolcano didn't go BOOM! like in
that John Cusack movie I was forced to endure a few nights back.
So, what's your Yellowstone resolution for the new year?
First and foremost for me is trying to find a way to remain close to the park. There's a
strong possibility that I will be forced, for the second time in my life, to move away
from Parkadise. Needless to say, that's not a proposition that sits well with me, but so
far I'm not seeing a lot of options.
Should I work through that little crink that life tossed this direction, then my resolution
for the year ahead would be to try and get back to see Union Falls in person. For all the
time I've spent in the park, I've done very little down in the Cascade corner region,
generally due to the fact that it's just so long getting there that it leaves little time to
actually hop out of the vehicle and do anything. I just need to bite the bullet and make
it a point to experience that segment of paradise.
