the photographer takes the pictures and turns them over to NatGeo or whoever, per contract, and has little if any input into the storyline. Whoever puts the story together generally knows less than I do about what the photographer was trying to capture. Yes, I know that for a fact. We try to simply enjoy the photography and blow off the inaccuracies and inconsistencies.
