This shot was taken at Floating Island Lake. We stopped to check out the duck s and Sandhill Crane s in the area. The black bear came down from the south of the lake, when it got closer it put on the charge towards the Crane. The Crane was able to make a successful escape from the bear but it was close. Those big old clumsy looking bears sure can run fast when they want too.
