That's their habitat and they are not terribly shy. As Albee will tell you - we happened to run into him and Ceri at this Washburn-Chittenden side pullout - this blue grouse actually followed me when I walked away from it! And I'm sure they're not looking for food, since M&Ms and peanuts are not on their menu.
