All of you, and anybody I missed listing, thanks for your kind sympathy - I am really shocked at how many people have been in the same or worse situation (although it appears that none have gone on to further destroy an additional appendage as I did when I got out of that bathtub!), but it makes me realize how lucky I am that I've made something like 25 trips to the park without any such disaster until now. The other truly amazing thing is that we can break, rip, or otherwise destroy ourselves and never feel the pain as long as there are wolves or bears or moose to focus on instead!

Several of your stories made me laugh out loud - I really feel SO MUCH better about this toe thing, in all ways, thanks to you all! (sparing you further photographic evidence now)
