Much later in the trip, well after we had to give up hiking due to the The Toe and Moose (a great name for an English pub if I ever heard one) incident, the day dawned beautifully sunny and bright, but still cool - an ideal day to re-visit Mud Volcano, which I by-pass on almost all trips. But the boardwalk was safe walking for my sore foot, so up we went, counter-clockwise, starting with Dragon's Mouth Spring.
I must say, the boardwalks there are in great, safe shape.
