Yikes, no auditorium

SY,

Thanks for the update.

I'm going to miss that auditorium. Even though it is relatively small, it has been useful for doing presentations. We had Bob Landis show us Loons "Return of the Wolf" in May, 2000, when it had not been broadcast in the U.S. yet. Years later, Bob also showed us much of the pre-production footage that went into the sequel. Lee Whittlesey presented to the Loons on the subject of early interpreters in Yellowstone. These were all wonderful opportunities for park visitors, beyond all the standard stuff done throughout the typical day.

I have to wonder if there is any plan to substitute some sort of kiosks or video panels to disseminate interpretive info, a bit like what we see at the Canyon and Old Faithful VEC's.

With the cell signal woes, sometimes inexplicable decision-making on building rehab, and the chronic road maintenance/lift station maintenance issues, I'm sure glad that Mother Nature manages the majority of Yellowstone's 2.2 million acres.
