It wasn't a great year for wildlife-sightings, and somehow we saw a total of one (1) moose on the entire trip, but this guy, whom I'm quite sure we photographed at the same place at the same time last year, was slurping away in his little Moose-Wilson Road seasonal pond and posed nicely. Unfortunately the sun was really strong and the moose turned into it kind of inconveniently, but here is his too contrasty portrait anyway, just to prove we saw him.

We heard there was a cow and calf across the river at Oxbow Bend but we weren't lucky enough to see them.
