It sounds great, and I've heard a couple of folks say it is, but it's just too pricey. Would be nice, though.
Either location (SM or CB) of the other two is fine with me--I know both areas and how long it takes to get to anywhere from either spot. The biggest issue, like I mentioned below, is the beds--ideally we need four, although I can get away with three if necessary. The two-bedroom cabins at Colter Bay sound perfect, but they're pushing the envelope on our price range. (Okay, they're actually busting the envelope!) Same situation with the two-room cabins at Signal Mountain, although they aren't quite as costly. Either place has one-room cabins that could work if we drag along the air mattress and all its accessories--just trying to avoid messing with that if possible!
I don't guess I worry much about the floors--all I'm doing is walking on them, ha. They're all likely to be cleaner than the ground would be if we would be camping! Of course, Mom might have a different opinion, but she never gets any say in the reservations anyway. :^) The info on the tubs and showers is good to know. And after we stayed at the Jacob Lake place (near the North Rim of the Grand Canyon), I don't think uneven floors or wonky doors could ever bother us. That place was hilarious!
So anyway, right now I'd say Signal Mountain is probably our front-runner for the time in the Tetons, but I'll likely end up changing my mind a dozen times. Shoot, I don't even know for sure that we're even GOING, but I do know that I'll be annoyed if it doesn't work out!
