Are kitchen facilities a big deal for your family?

I too would suggest two different places as it is a lot of driving to the southern part of the park. Any chance of trying a cabin(s) at Snow Lodge? Is always nice to stay in the Old Faithful area at least a night or two if you are interested in the thermal features at all. Then a couple nights in the Tetons would be good also. Just my thoughts....the rental house at Gardiner would be fine if you plan to spend most of your time in the northern part of the park.
