The Fishing Bridge Museum retains many of its original exhibits as an example of early National Park Displays. Visitors enter the "Bird Hall," which is flanked by wings that contain exhibits dedicated to lake geology and lake biology.

In fact it's the fusty-dusty age of the specimens that usually dilutes my interest in them, but in fact it looks like they've been cleaned up and substantially restored recently. I wouldn't say restored to their original glory because I'm not sure they were every glorious, but one advantage of stuffed specimens is that it gives you a much better sense of the actual size of the creature than looking at it 50 yards away or through binoculars or a long lens.
