This is a little like the Madison Junction campfire story. People want it to be true so badly they are willing to turn down the lights to give it a chance. In this case much of it may still prove out, but it hasn't yet and shouldn't be presented as such.
By the way, Mech says Montana released 129 beavers in drainages north of the park before the increase in in-park sightings. The increase in Yellowstone beavers may be due to reintroduction, just not necessarily wolf reintroduction ☺
