Yellowstone is a public space so unless you are uber-wealthy or politically connected really special things are not an option. You are not going to get to use Laura Bush s cabin on Peale Island.
My suggestions which echo those already posted are:
Dinner at the Lake Hotel with before or after dinner in the Reamer Lounge (you might be able to set something special up on this latter with the hotel concierge dessert, drinks, mother s personal favorite music?)
I do not have the number of the front desk so you would have to go through reservations: (866)439-7375
A private wildlife tour (3 of many):

A whole or half-day horseback ride. Jett Hitt gets great reviews, but there are many others:

A ride in a Yellow Bus. Xanterra does sightseeing, wildlife, geyser and photo tours. I like these very much, but I have considerable affection for the buses. Xanterra s guides normally do a very good job.
