We were watching the alpha female from the Canyon wolf pack on an Elk carcass in Elk
Park. This Bison started to roll in a dirt bowl kicking up dust and making a lot of noise. It
was about two hundred yards away when it started to charge us. The Bison ran for all the
photographers taking pictures of the wolf. People were grabbing their spotting scopes
and camera and running for safety between their cars me included. This was the last shot
I took of the charging Bison before I decided to pull back. No was was hurt, Bison are
unpredictable and fast.
