Hey GH

There are at least four Institute classes you should look into. Lee Whittlesey teaches a class on Mammoth under various names, I don't have the current title, but it is excellent and covers the large amount of information he amassed in writing his Mammoth (both subject and size) monograph. The monograph should be available this summer from the Center.

Leslie Quinn teaches Old Times at Old Faithful, Ghost Hotels of Yellowstone, and Yellowstone's Serene Spot (Lake). All good classes and each one will give you insights into the park's architectural history. Also, Leslie's wife, the great Ruth Quinn, is one of the two tour guides for The Housemaid's Tour of the Inn. If you haven't taken this it should be on your list. Besides being and excellent tour, Ruth wrote Reamer's biography. Always good to hang with the person who wrote the book.

I have thoroughly enjoyed your trip reports and although I am sorry to see them end, I am looking forward to your cleanup post.

Thanks much. I hope you and TLK have plans for your next visit.
