The bachelor elk who hang out by the road just south of Canyon. Near the end of May they still looked extra scruffy. I bet by now the scruffy stuff is gone and they're sleek and getting pregnant looking from all the nice forage and any day now, if it hasn't happened already, the velvet will be coming off.
