Nice bird photos. We saw lots of Western Tanagers ourselves up by Trout Lake. A couple from New Zealand told us that they did not expect to see such beautiful birds outside of an aviary. That's high praise from people who get to see birds called Bird of Paradise!
I stopped by Calcite Springs looking for the sapsuckers, but not knowing where to look and seeing no knowledgeable folks, I was unable to spot them. Thank you so much for sharing the photos you took!
