For those of you that are not on FB There is sad news in the Yellowstone loon family tonight.

We thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. We have felt your love and it has helped sustain us and we cling to it in our sorrow.
Bridger suffered massive brain injury - hard to known how much from the disease (which is not certain, but was likely an auto-immune disease) and how much from an arterial bleed that occurred when a chest tube was placed to drain pleural effusions. His brain was not able to recover. We were waiting, watching for signs, hoping and praying, but last night it became undeniable. He was removed from the ventilator and passed away this afternoon.
We are all shattered and can't fathom our future without him, but we cling to each other and take it minute by minute.
The other day, I mentioned that the husband of one of the ladies who works in the Seattle Children's Hospital PAC team is a developer at Bungie on the Destiny project. Some Destiny swag arrived today that would have meant the world to Bridger and which we will treasure for what it would have meant to him.
Bridger, thank you for bringing light to our lives.

One day he was a healthy 14 year old and the next he was clinging to life. In a matter of days he was gone. Hard to imagine the loss of a child. Please say a prayer for this family. If you have some extra money please go to the go fund me page and contribute. Stacy La Salle set the account up. My heart breaks for this family. Pray for them they need our prayers.
