I wish I could say I remember that event in the UGB, but I'm not sure I do. I know we see more and more visitors equipped with infra-red thermometers, and I love that trend.

I've been contemplating that Fall Color Walk, when we did the one-way wander in the Swan Lake area, out the Glen Creek trail, up onto the ridge south of the Fawn Pass trail, and south toward Indian Creek. It was so cool to have such a large group lounging around on the hilltop west of Swan Lake. (I seem to remember some gusty wind.) I think my photos from that hike got zapped in a hard drive and simultaneous backup drive failure. I still have vivid images in my mind!
