They just quit getting the paycheck.
I've only met Frank once and never hiked with him. Me and Dan were driving through Hayden and I see a vehicle with obvious license plates on it. We pull over and get out.
Frank is busy explaining the geology of Hayden to some tourist. We kinda hated to interrupt, but after about 5 minutes we had to introduce ourselves. Even though we had just met, it was like a reunion with a long lost friend. We talked about everything from wolves, bears, the park, rangers, and Loons.
It was great to meet Frank and I can't believe we haven't bumped into each other since.
