A very kind and helpful contributor to this forum (you know who
you are!) emailed me directly to help me plan some hikes for my
family's trip in mid-June. A technical problem wiped out my
email and I lost his personal email address. If you see this
and are still willing to chat one-on-one, please try again.
If others have advice for good day hikes (off the beaten path
but not too far off...considering my new fear of bears), please
let me know. I'll be with my husband and 2 daughters (14yrs and
10yrs), who have done several 10-15 mile hikes in the White Mtns
of NH. We're staying in Canyon Lodge for 4 nights before
heading south to Grand Tetons.
