There's so much to do on both sides of the park, but probably more on the east side, so given that you only have 3 days I agree you've divvied up your lodging arrangements well.

Tell us more about your priorities and we can make better suggestions. Wildlife? History? Geology? Scenery? Geothermal features, springs and geysers? Hiking, and if so, short and sweet, or long and steep?

PS The wildflowers should be really good now, it was a snowy winter and a rainy spring. Prepare to enjoy!
