Amy,

I know T-Mobile does not have their own cell sites in Yellowstone, but their customers can roam on other cellular networks with footprints in the park. The closest cell tower to Bridge Bay is the new one at Lake. It is located by the employee housing area that lies between Fishing Bridge and the Lake area, west of the Grand Loop Road. This is a short tower, prescribed by the settlement of the PEER lawsuit, and, unfortunately, underpowered. I have had trouble hitting that tower from within certain portions of the Lake complex, which is closer than Bridge Bay, so I have no idea what the coverage will be like in the campground proper. I do know that the traditional areas nearby that have had decent cell coverage for decades persevere. That includes the north shore of Yellowstone Lake, around Mary Bay and Sedge Bay, as well as Lake Butte Overlook. I never have figured out which tower those areas hit, whether it is the one at Grant Village or the one on Mt. Washburn.

The good news is that you should be able to make and receive calls from somewhere in close proximity to the campground, if not within the campground.

I would ask that you report back after your trip about what you discovered, so we can provide that info to other folks that might inquire.
