Beej,

I tried to measure the bubblers today, but the lake is up so high that the bubblers were not obvious. Strong wave action hitting the beach was not helping either.

Here's what I did measure. The main pool at Beach Springs was fairly consistently around 88F. The smaller pool to the east was only around 62F. I will be posting photos of the other features I found on either side of the road on my Facebook page. These guys are "hotties". I was getting readings as high as 149F on the south side and 157F on the north side. These are sulfurous vents appearing at the surface of the artificial build-up of the road along Mary Bay. This might be more interesting over time than the vent that opened in the Sulphur Cauldron parking lot.
