Coolest day since sometime in May, topped out at about 73 in Mammoth, but extremely smoky, smelled like cooking hot dogs (could be worse, right?)

Very little wildlife around, but I did see a coyote and a fox across the road from each other at Yellowstone picnic, a deer running across the road in front of my car, a few elk in Mammoth, and plenty of paired-off bison in Little America and Lamar. Also lots of spotted frogs in Slough Creek and a ton of cedar waxwings on Crystal Creek.
