They feel it's out of proportion to the other buildings in the village, but the low-profile Mission 66 esthetic requires a lot of real estate, whereas the updated peaked-roof parkitecture style of the VC makes better use of vertical space. The complaints started when people realized they could see it before they even reached the intersection, at least when approaching from the west.
